Simply Great Grilled Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

1cut-up broiler-fryer chicken
1/2cup soy sauce
1/4cup sherry
2tablespoons canola oil
2cloves garlic, minced
1teaspoon ground ginger
1/4teaspoon nutmeg
1/2teaspoon pepper

Cooking Instructions

In jar with lid, place soy sauce, sherry, canola oil, garlic, ginger and nutmeg; shake well and pour over chicken in bowl. Cover chicken and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours or more. Place chicken on prepared grill, skin side up, about 8-inches from heat; sprinkle with pepper. Grill chicken, turning and basting with sauce every 10 minutes, for about 1 hour or until fork can be inserted with ease. Makes 4 Servings.
